High school seniors who are active in the parish may qualify for a scholarship to help defray some of the costs of obtaining a four year degree at an accredited institution. Interested? Details and application forms are located here. Note: those previously awarded a scholarship must re-apply each year. Deadline for receipt of all scholarship applications is March 31, 2017.
This month’s collection will be on March 25 and 26, 2017. Donations of canned tuna, canned veggies and toilet paper would be greatly appreciated. (Also, please consider participating in the "40 Cans for Lent" food drive, below.)
Help Good Samaritan feed those in need in our community - donate one can of vegetables, fruit, or a jar of peanut butter each day during Lent (March 1 - April 15). A box for donations will be located at the narthex (entrance) of Good Shepherd. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Council 3431.
Goal: 3000 cans / non-perishable food items. As of March 27: 1,557 cans / items donated.
Thanks for your generous support!
