Safety Ministry

The safety ministry plans and prepares for safe operations on the Good Shepherd parish campuses. Campus facilities are equipped and team members are trained to prevent / respond to medical, fire, evacuation and other emergencies. First Responders Picnic - June 2024

On the 22^nd of June Good Shepherd hosted an appreciation picnic at the pavilion for all law enforcement, fire, and ambulance personnel in the local area. In collaboration with the City of Decherd’s Mayor’s office, Family Life and the Knights of Columbus prepared a hearty selection of picnic foods and drinks to share with members of the Decherd and Winchester Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and EMT's.
